Cookies and browser storage

The site uses cookies and browser storage to store access to your gifts, drafts and settings. The current version code does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics systems.
What is stored on the device
- Editor cookie lq_editor. Random secret to access your gifts without registration. Valid for up to one year from installation or until uninstalled by the user. Cookies are not available to regular page code; to HTTPS is transmitted only over a secure connection.
- Draft in IndexedDB. Texts, settings and selected photos before saving. A draft older than seven days is deleted the next time the workshop is opened, and not on a timer when the site is closed.
- Progress in sessionStorage. Allows you to continue the game after refreshing the page in the same tab. Progress older than 72 hours is not restored. Session data is typically deleted when you close a tab, but tab recovery behavior varies by browser.
- Sound settings. It is saved on the device until it is changed or the site data is cleared.
Language selection
When you first open it, the language is selected according to the browser settings. Your choice in the radio button is stored in the lq_language cookie for up to one year. This cookie is used for display language only; it can be deleted in the browser settings.
How to manage storage
Cookies and local data can be deleted in your browser settings for this site. Blocking cookies prevents gifts from being saved and access to editing. Deleting a local draft does not delete the gift from the server.
If you want to delete a gift completely, first open it in the workshop and use the delete button, then clear your browser data. Do not delete the editor cookie while you need access to gifts.
Changes upon publication
Before the public launch, the list will be expanded if the hosting or payment service adds its own cookies. If optional analytics or advertising features are available, they will be subject to required selection settings before they are enabled.
